In theory, you could do it. The early Disco3 was available with coils but not sure the RRS ever was.

The air suspension system is an integral part of the car's various TR systems. I would think it would be more effort to persuade the car to work properly on coils than it would be to sort the actual issue you have. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

can't be any worse than the air bags ? I've run my sport now for a while and comparing it to our other l322 the sport really is harsh ,,even putting the 19 inchs back on,,i will get the body off this new one and have a measure up,for a kit I've found with EAS software, to cope with the conversion BUILDER PRETENDING TO BE A MECHANIC (give me some bricks and i will build you a house)

The L320 will be different to the L322. It's supposed to be. The L322 is considered "floaty" by some, after all.

Please don't ruin a RRS by trying to turn it in to a FFRR. Please don't.

Oh, and the RRS isn't a P38, you will ruin it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

For that money you could put new air struts all round. And you keep all of the RRS's ability. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

What do you mean by "delicate" and "strong enough"? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

You are aware that the RRS and Disco3 are the same under the skin, right? The wishbones are interchangeable, for example. If the RRS is showing an issue where the disco isn't, there's a problem to be fixed. Sounds like bushes need changing, to be honest. I've used my RRS off road and when the lower arm bushes are dying it feels like the wheels will fall off!

If you put coils on, you won't be able to raise the ride height when off road either. That will limit you straight away. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

If you dont like air suspension why did you buy a RRS (exactly the same as a D3 under the skin) - maybe you should have bought a Crapota.

Really dont do it - get the suspension you have sorted. The RRS is a perfect offroad vehicle and with its shorter wheelbase is more capable than the equivalent D3.

Changing to springs from a D3 will give you poor offroad height and poor suspension travel - it will be far worse offroad.
