Are the alloys OEM LR wheels? A) Only since the Mk2 L494 have LR supplied any black wheels B) The RRS is a very heavy car so essential that you check the wheels are not cheap fakes that might crack at the first speed hump - original LR wheels will have the Land Rover oval cast into them, but do check that any aftermarket wheels (and tyres) are the right rating for the car.

Those are about the most copied LR design unfortunately, you would have to take them off the car to check that the LR logo is cast into the back of them.

Are you in the trade? If not, he's selling to a member of the public and he can't wash his hands of his responsibilities. He may not be able to find someone to put a warranty on it but he is still liable for it. Those wheels appear to be the standard 20 inch "supercharged" alloys but painted black. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

No I’m not in the trade but I was pretty certain that by law he has to offer some form of warranty? I could be wrong but the whole trade sale basis only is off putting. It’s on offer ‘cheap’ or cheaper as it’s a part ex trade sale but a quick search on auto trader doesn’t show it as being cheaper compared to others of the same year. |

He still has to sell a vehicle which is fit for purpose and give 3 months at least warranty |

There are lots of RRS about. Don't buy it if you have doubts about it or him. Take your money elsewhere. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

£8999 for an 11 year old car? No offence but that's a lot of money for a very old vehicle. Shop around I've seen 2010's for £7500. Not saying they're perfect but £8999 is waaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy top much. |
