Could this be one of the reason why more people chose Black RRS's

Is it just me but isn't it time that LR had a major overall to its colour schemes. I am about to order a new RRS 2.7HSE and fancy a change from Black cos everyones got one.

However we are finding chosing the body colour other than Java a bit stressful.

Chosing an interior colour isn't easy for us either.

My wife and I don't care for the all black interior, nor black carpets. Both show dust and marks too easily. So that leaves us Alpaca (with black carpets) or Ivory with Aspen carpets and for some reason an Aspen dash board. So lets go for Ivory/Aspen. This leaves us we feel the only body colour contrast choice of Giverny Green (Not keen as depending on clear skys or rainy or overcast days I can be one of 4 colours between Silver Green and very light grey) You could come out of the supermarket and not realise it's your car. All other colours available only go with black interior. So for us it seems were going back to black with perhaps Alpaca interior and reluctantly black carpets.

We would like to see some charcoal/grey cobinations for interiors and better coordination of the Alpaca interior and a new shade. Also drop the Aspen business with Ivory. I saw a Teal car with an Ivory interior last week with an Aspen dash - AAAGHHHH - Surely a black and Ivory would be more appropriate - it would be if I ordered an SC- so why not make it available in a TDV6.

Any comments would be welcome

It's true the interior matching could do with an injection of imagination, but I guess we have to work with what's out there. Mine is Java/Alpaca (with black carpets) and I think it's fine - the downside I find is that the leather does pick up your trouser colour very easily and that if you cart around a 2 yr old in the back, it suffers from drink, biscuits and bananas landing on it at regular intervals Wink

Simple really . . .

Uh.... ?

Are you feeling OK, TB? Shocked

I'm fine thanks Shmoogle, I think I must have been a bit stressed out after work when I wrote that little lot.

Anyway back to the main topic.

Can I have more than one vote? My driveway has been like a car show room this week. I have decorated the block paving with one Artic Frost TDV6, one Zermatt Silver 4.4 V8 and one Rimini Red 4.4 V8.

I have also tried out a Zermatt Silver 110 Defender Station Wagon and tonight I have a Java Disco3 TDV6 Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

I get to take vehicles home for over night evaluation. Checking for squeaks and rattles, transmission noises etc.

Plus it saves me a fortune in fuel costs every week. Wink Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.
