My car is a MY2012 and has auto high beam, here's a picture of the headlight switch selected to auto, check yours to see if you have the same. |

Mine does have an auto setting on the headlight switch so the lights come on and off when it gets dark. The high beam doesn't automatically come on though, so I presume there is a setting I need to do on the control panel as per Puslinch's post.

The auto high beam on/ off is an option and not standard, the Auto on light switch is purely to turn on/off as required.

If you are referring to High Beam Assist, it can be turned on and off via the menu accessed through the R/H menu switch on the steering wheel Vehicle Set-up option, standard on A/B's option on other models. Should also be able to see sensor in interior mirror if I remember correctly. From outside off course.
