Well, after just over 7 months, I finally got to drive my lovely RRS again today, just over a mile each way, down onto local beach so I could practice a bit, and do off road down steep loose stones onto sands.

Good to hear your making moves in the right direction, important thing is not to overdo it or you could set yourself back months 2010 RRS, TDV8

Thanks everyone for your posts, I know I mustn’t overdo the daily Physio sessions, and other programs I’m on, plus the resting more, main target now is, I still have to concentrate on learning to walk again properly or as best that I can, it just seems such a long time with still lots of pain even with the high Morphine dosage I’m on, and I was getting very bored looking at the bedroom and hospital walls.

Great news on your progress John. Just don’t rush it! Don’t run before you can walk, as they say Robin
