Hi all.

This is my first post, so please be gentle with me as I'm new to RRS ownership and the forum.

Looking to update my sat nav which is gen 2.1 I believe in my 2012 variant, with the SDV6 and 8 speed box. So I presume it's the one that takes about 3 hours to update, I do it myself and it uses a USB flash drive?
The £169 from Land Rover is ridiculous so routed around.
Question is has anybody bought and had success with the one on eBay?

As you say. The genuine LR one....It is supplied on a USB stick and includes maps for most of Europe. Allow up to 2 or so hours to load it to your HD, and you need the security key number to authorise it’s use.

Haven’t see any working other copies of this, it’s not as straight forward as a DVD disc, but we are not allowed to advertise, advise etc re-illegal copies.  John

As well as activation key if I remember correctly it is also coded to your vin. number, so can only used in that vehicle.
