They have had it too easy for too long, they need a horrible dip in sales (not that I've helped) that will force them to get their act together.. |

Petrol engined RRS’s don’t get mentioned in the report, it’s only the diesels that they comment on! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I’m quite surprised when I read of people’s horror stories with their cars I believe I must be extremely lucky

I have had my 2010 V8 RRS HSE Lux since July and as my daily driver, I have racked up almost 5000 miles. I think the front brakes are getting close to needing to be replaced, I will probably do rear as well. But that’s wear and tear from city driving and some fast blasts in the country + previous owner use. The car is just coming up 64k miles and has become the new family favourite. I am enjoying it way more than I had imagined and so far it hasn’t missed a beat.

I'm considering flogging my 06 and getting a 3 yr old one after xmas. Reading stuff like this keeps putting me off. Shelling out £40k for a lemon doesn't seem too appealing if I'm honest.

Ive had a call from the guy who bought my RRS2 AB,,only 34000 miles & it sounds like crankshaft has gone,,it’s in LR dealers in Chester & I’ve to call them tomorrow to see if we can work something out as it still had warranty till sept next year which was transferable.

Hope so Paul,,at least it had full LR service history,,I’m just glad I took it to Hatfields for its last service instead of doing it myself as that could have been their way to get out of paying,,,,it’s time like this when I’m glad I buy from LR dealers with approved warranty.i wouldn’t be happy buying one from a none LR dealer & having a problem like this & getting a 10-14k bill.
