hi

looking for engine oil for my 14 RRS, i thought it had a DPF and the oil required would be castrol 5w30 C2 BUT on checking Castrols web site it says NONE DPF and oil required is Magnatec Stop-Start 5W-30 A5

can some one confirm that my car does NOT have a DPF and which oil i should be using

I think you will find it does have a DPF.Contact LR dealer & ask which Castrol oil they use.

Yes the handbook covers which type of oil is required but for both

DPF vehicles and non DPF vehicles

I think the best option will be to pop into the main dealer and
purchase a 1ltr top up and see what I get 2014-HSE SDV6

Non-DPF vehicles are sold in some overseas markets, all diesel RRS sold in Europe since 2011 IIRC have a DPF 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Very easy to tell non DPF will emit diesel smoke that can't be missed especially on acceleration . M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW.

Just look at the exhaust tailpipes - a DPF-equipped diesel will have shiny clean exhaust tips. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

It would appear to have DPF and is Euro 5

So ordered a service kit and will get oil

from Euro car parts 2014-HSE SDV6

ECP please don't,,,,they are crap parts & will probably be wrong

Should have been clearer order service kit from
Landrover and get the oil from Euro 2014-HSE SDV6
