England 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Thought I'd give my thread an update as I haven't since the original post.

So far I have had all new brakes, new tyres, new reg, all new lights including led swaps, large rear silencer removed, new 'Supercharged' side steps, all new wheel bearings, new centre caps on the alloys, new door handle covers (changed to java black), window tints removed and replaced and the 10% supercharger pulley upgrade.

I've probably forgotten a few things Shocked

Headphones for best sound.

Next few things on my list are; autobiography spoiler, newer style front and rear lights, chassis under seal and new ARB bushes.

And this is my other non-Land Rover toy

Looking great mate. I colour coded my handles too, makes a big difference. Haven`t long had mine either....I love it.

Tell me more about the pulley upgrade. I`ve heard this can be done, what are the benefits? Cheers. Steve.

The whine of the supercharger is louder and you get more power from it. What else can be said!

I would not take on the job yourself, the company that makes the pulley can supply the pulley already attached to the snout of a supercharger in replacement for yours. It’s more expensive that way but at least you know it’s been done by the manufacturer rather than a mechanic who CAN get it wrong. The difference in power is most noticeably from I would say taking off at the lights, there is a big difference in speed.

Nice. I`ve never tried wrapping. Tried hydro dipping once.....wasn`t the best result Laughing Steve.

Wrapping can be difficult, it’s the corners that are a pain in the bum.

Had my 5.0L done by Alive Tuning.

Bought a spare nosecone kit from L/R 12months ago, cost £72.00 kit now costs retail £432.53 bit of a rip off increase but that's L/R for you.

Cheers
Col

Yep it’s not a cheap mod but at least the power is guaranteed. Mine was done by powerhouse, but all fitted by a good friend who is also a mechanic Smile

It’s not the best picture, but in the flesh I think they look better there. Noisy black one
