Remote App (tracker) stopped working for me on Sat (14th Oct) I’m on iPhone 7 Plus on IOS 11.0.3 and it was fine on this version until Saturday, when did the app upgrade to 1.69.2 ? Is the issue with the App upgrade and not IOS upgrade? ____________________

Updated my iphone to iOS 11.3. Deleted and reinstalled the App, still doesn't work. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Had an email from JLR CRC yesterday saying they'd finally fixed my InControl Remote problem after 7 months (displays low washer fluid warning when it's not) and was to log-out and log back in again. Now it gives me the Network Error and I can't log back in.

Keep trying. 

It isn’t just In Control that has a problem, my Apple keyboard for my iPad Pro now shows me a warning message that the keyboard is no longer supported by the software of the iPad since I upgraded to IOS11 and it is a keyboard made by/for Apple! I hate the keyboard on the screen as it is uncomfortable to use when using the iPad as a laptop/PC replacement for writing letters and reports. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

The latest IOS update 11.0.3 sorts out unrelated things but appears to added a further gremlin for some to LR App.
This is now (according to Apple) a problem for LR to sort and to ensure they test their software etc with later IOS updates which they haven’t seemed to do, as a polite response, and Apple say nothing they can do to assist, due to lack of some companies beta testing not happening when new updates and versions launched, and relying on old code still to work.

So chasing Apple US & UK is a waste of time unfortunately.
I was beta testing IOS 11 for a couple months before launch, when found not designed to run on older Apple products, but LR wasn’t on list of software or hardware to check. Strange.

iPhone 5 and earlier, iPad 4 and earlier, first iPad Pro, and separate accessories more than 2-3 years old won’t work on IOS 11 onwards. All programs/items etc must now be 64 bit not 32 bit which is not backward compatible. John

LR was/is disgustingly slow in updating its own Apps, that's why Apple removed it from its compatibility list, as they (LR) never seem to beta test for new IOS version and make correct updates, alter SW program as required and didn't check if their program would work with IOS 11 just "expected it to run" and Apple warned all program writers and issuers etc it wouldn't be backward compatible and being purely 64 bit, older 32 bit programs won't run properly and required updating or new program issued.
This is why IPad 4 and below, iPhone 5 and lower, first iPad Pro and other hardware models would not be able upgrade to IOS 11 (automatically or manually) as it will not work with older HW.

We were all issued with Beta version of IOS 11 with a few months to check that all programs would run, correct, rewrite script and coding as required, it appears LR just didn't bother, as per usual use the customer to find the faults and then panic when they can't get it to work. The time and money wasted and customer satisfaction lost is awful for a car at this price level. 98% of other programs worked properly on release date, and many had to be completely updated and rewritten. (In layman terms). John

Message from JLR this morning was "Regrettably we are presently experiencing a concern with the latest version of the InControl Remote application, which is version 1.69.2 and iOS devices."

Just updated to 1.69.3 and it works. And they've fixed my Washer Fluid warming issue.  

App is now working on our evoque.
