My dealer changed the rear ones on my wife's 2015 Sport without question on warranty and said there was a known issue. Interestingly my SVR was in for a rear pads and disc change and when cleaning the car applied something that brought off the paint on my Blue ones, took a month to get replacements but they did eventually change them.

Mine is a HSE Dynamic 2014 under the 2 years extended warranty and they won't change them, so they say ! Only got 20,000 miles on her too.
I've only had her about 1 month now so plenty of extended warranty left !

Is this something i should try chasing up again ? Really annoyed with my local dealer though, Hunters Norwich are shocking they just don't want to do anything unless they make something out of it !!

I guess they are being funny due to mine being 1 year older and in the extended 2 year warranty program, maybe this is not covered ?
I'm sure it should be though that's why i always buy from landrover for this 2 year warranty.

I had mine replaced and picked up this am. These seem to be power coated and a smoother finish than the previous flakey ones.

As i said before my rubbish dealer hunters of norwich won't have it about my rear calipers and say they are not covered under warranty !!!
Do you guys know this is because its in the extended 2 years approved used warranty?? Going to speak to landrover customer care tomorrow regarding this. It's a 2014 HSE Dynamic so out of the 3 year genuine warranty but I've only had it 3 weeks so its only just in its 2 years approved used warranty. Surely they must be covered !

Should have been done. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

Dam that's so annoying people at other dealers are getting these replaced plus as you say widdle yours is a 63 plate ! Thing is i found out that they are covered under the 3 year warranty but not covered on the extended 2 year approved warranty which i think is wrong.
Apparently it goes down to the dealership discretion now if they change it or not !! I know hunters of Norwich won't cover it as they are a horrendous dealership wont do anything for a customer like this !!

I did notice them before i bought her and looked at all the other vehicles on the forecourts and they too were the same with 16 plates doing it too !! Thought i would do them my self anyway until I found out people getting them changed on here under warranty !

I will do them myself anyway i think as least i know they are done correctly and it won't happen again.

Think i may go to customer care about this and see what they say !!

I'd give Land Rover customer relations a call - they really should have been replaced during the pre-sale prep of the car by the dealer in my view

Mine were replaced last year at first service, no quibble, they even replaced the rear discs and pads FOC. The new callipers have the same harder wearing finish as the fronts. 12 months on they still look like new. I guess it depends on whether you have a good dealer or just the standard LR dealer! 2018 MY19 HSE Dynamic, Santorini, Ebony/Ivory, Sliding pano, Adaptive cruise, Black wheels.
