Mine were both worn when I bought mine. I had both changed. I looked at other used sports at the dealership and the worn 'p' button was common. They thought the only option was to change the gearstick but due to costs they wouldn't. Then they said the button could be sprayed! I found out you could change the button. It's about £3.50 to buy and just clips in! They changed it after I told them it was replaceable! Great dealership knowledge! |

Gents - I have the same issue & it was on my to do list - it becomes even more noticeable at night when it glows red

Sorry I don't have the part number but you can find it online as I found an exploded view of the gearstick somewhere. Just ring the parts department at the dealership. Don't spray it - it will cover the red illumination! |
