I've got a DAS-6-PRO dual action and also the Silverline rotary and to be honest I only use the DA now, that's probably down to the fact that the paint work only needs a very minor correction now and then. I would think that any of the DA's recommended on this thread would do the job, a lot of people seem to have had good results using the Challenge DA that Argos sell. http://www.argos.co.uk/product/4645777 |

Hi David, yes i did see that. I have every thing as i usually do my cars by hand and the paint on them is superb . But some times the car picks up a light scratch even when waxing or polishing so i want to be able to remove these without popping down to my body shop. So really i don't need any thing to extreme, just back up.

Had a quick go with the buffer over the weekend and I'm really impressed with it. Loads of torque and plenty of speed (controllable), I did rotate the body so that the on/off switch was at the top as I found it awkward to slide/press the switch, it's a quick easy job, just 4 screws, pull the body away a little, twist and then replace the screws.

Cheers for the update, shame about the vibration, perhaps you could try something like this if you were going to use it for a long time. Not sure if they rob you of any dexterity though.
