Mine has just spent 6 weeks on the drive and my brother drove it yesterday, it started fine but there is a warning on the dash that it must be started immediately as the battery is low. From previous experience the warning is for the Stop/ start barrtery not the main battery. It got left for 12 weeks last summer without a run and started with the same low battery warming but after a 16 mile run to town that disappeared and suddenly the Stop/start had resumed service. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I'm on permanent holiday, decided to call it a day and move to NZ, but sod this retirement lark it's to much like hard work so probably go and find a job for a rest. Cheers Col |

Yikes - 6 weeks and 5 days. In 2015, after a heart op, I was a bit immobile and although my children were around to help me with stuff, I thought I would just leave her in the garage under a cover. I was prepared to call recovery to get it started but when I took the cover off, and hit the start button, she fired into life

I don't worry about not being able to start any more. I purchased a NOCO Genius Boost HD GB70 2000 Amp 12V UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starter, from Amazon. It definitely holds its charge, and I have it plugged into 12v socket in rear of the car to keep it fully topped up.
