Does access & extended mode still work - try whilst stationary - see if there is a noisy compressor it's positioned under the RRS in front of the rear passenger side rear wheel. It's strange it's highlighted on start up without any other obvious faults

just been told by grange barnet that theres a suspension pipe thats cracked and its leaking fluid so they have to order that in.

Update: did about 50miles yesterday and the fault did not happen again. Did see a few people report a similar problem which acures a couple times a year with not problems actually evolving.

In my experience compressor failure is a gradual process - mine took a few months to fail completely I would describe the noise as a bag of ball bearings rattling not deafening but certainly noticeable 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

It's probably an issue with the Dynamic Response system (hydraulic anti roll bars). Check the level in the reservoir - it's the one behind the driver's side headlight. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
