Mirror camera lens broken off

Hi,
Has anyone experienced the lens going missing from the camera in the mirror? Mine seems to have disappered exposing the sensor underneath (see photo)

A few questions for you wise people:
Is the lens supposed to be removable?
Is a replacement part available or is it a case of replacing the entire camera?
What is the procedure for replacing the camera - if this is necessary?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

I didn't even realise the surround 360 cameras were even fitted that early in the Year/model, except possibly Autobiography. Embarassed A nice feature to have.
Haven't been able to find any references to replacement parts only, but if no one can help, get onto our sponsors such as Duckworth parts who has his own thread running or email/PM. John

I have just found replacement used door mirror on EBay with camera for 2010-2013 RRS but they run at around £290.00 😱 But no joy with replacement camera / lens.

The camera lens is not actually removable normally, not sure why yours would have come off. The lens only is not available from L/R although you can buy the complete camera LR031826 but they are not cheap retail with vat nearly £300.00.
Quite easy to change but a little fiddly, just a small multi-plug and a couple of small screws, you will need to remove the mirror lens to get to the camera.

If you buy just a second hand camera make sure it is the one for the mirror and not the front bumper, they are identical in size and shape but the mirror puddle light is an integral part of the camera, and obviously not fitted in the bumper one's. They other solution would be a complete mirror as John has posted a link to.

Thanks for the info guys. I had a feeling this was going to get expensive Sad

I think I'll have a look for a salvage part before parting with £300 for a new part.

One further question: how do I get to the camera - Is it behind the mirror and does the mirror glass just pull off?

Thanks again.
