Ive just ordered a new focus RS limited so I'm putting my RRS up for sale,been offered 48k from LR but I'd sooner someone get a bargain,,so I'm asking 50k which is probably 3-4K cheaper than LR dealer & it still has 11 month approved warranty left which is transferable,car also has a cat5 plus tracker which a lot of insurance company's insists on now.Interior is ivory/ebony with ebony headlinning,all the usual AB extras plus factory fitted side steps,factory mud flaps & red paddles.
I will either leave the 22' Hawke alloys with nearly new conti 295/40r22 or put the original alloys back on with nearly new 275/45r21Pirelli scorpion verde as tyres
If sold on here I will make donation to forum

Forgot to mention,,also has front & rear cameras,,thinkware 770..full LR history & only 33000miles.

Yes Johnski if this one goes I don't think I'll get another.They are a nice motor but I'm losing too much money on them,in the last 2 years Ive probably lost 25k on 2 motors.ill be sticking around as their is some good guys on here & you can have a bit of a laugh with some of the posts.If I get another RRS it will have to be a SVR & that will probably be the last car I buy Ive always wanted one since the came out but just haven't got the funds lying about & I won't do finance,I was always brought up. With the saying,if you can't afford it don't get it.

Muddy,,they are out pricing themselves,,it's ok if you can afford to lose 10-15k per year over the 4-5 years of ownership.I think they are aiming at folk leasing them rather than buying,if I do buy another it will be a RRS1 for about 12-14k that way it's not going to lose a great deal.

Shame to keep seeing RRS owners leaving of course.
I have switched to keeping them a lot longer now, my next one will provisionally be 2019, that's 7 years, longest I've ever kept a car, think I may even start purchasing two year old ones now.  John

Johnski,,that's what I do,buy 2 year old thinking your not going to lose as much but you still do,I paid just under 61k which was the price at LR dealers when I bought & it's now worth about 48k dealer to buy or around 52k private.im guessing it would have been around 82ish when new so just over 10k a year loss.i don't think they settle till they get down to 12-14k by this time your probably buy trouble as you'll not get a good warranty on one.its a shame really because they are a nice motor,the wife loves mine & says to keep it another 3 years which by that time it will be worth around 25k if I'm lucky or do I trade it in next year & throw another 20k in the pot for a 2 year old one again.

Personally think the best decision, and by car alternative comparison.
Glad to still have you around to Andy.
Trouble with all cars loose 20% tax and VAT looking at depreciation loss of Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Range Rover, Audi and several other motors listed in depreciation lists in Autoexpress, and they all loose around the same amount, some even more than the RRS after four years. It isn't just our cars. John

Johnski,,has Hatfields opened the new showroom yet,I went over week last sat as I had a Rolls Royce shadow 2 in mathewsons auction & the showroom still looked like a building site,I thought it was opening in Aug as I got a invite for opening night.
