They do not accept "In Control" at Direct Line I'm afraid. (Although some people haven't required a tracker for them, I did last year, dropped them now, crap accident repairs as use own body shops).

That's the one and good price, the new App should come with that as new, existing customers have to wait.

Hi, I took out a first years subscription on another Tracker unit with them, then upgraded to this unit after a year, and was given discount at the time of purchase. The subscription on my previous unit was only £169 PA, (Cat 6) but didn't do so much or offer what this one does now. I enquired at time of purchase of UG and said it was a bit to expensive, and they knocked it down for me. It is now on Direct Debit. John

I also got them down to £695 for the tracker but can't remember what I paid for 2 years subscription.

Thanks guys for your help on the tracker and best offers. My new RRS should be built this week according to the build sheet so I will give my dealer a call next week for an update on delivery and handover date. I can then get a tracker arranged for installation. |

I just renewed my insurance with Direct Line for the third year and still NO REQUIREMENT to have a tracker fitted. I asked when renewing if it was required and the girls said. "You have one fitted as standard, don't you". I told her I did but that the standard fit was Cat 6 and she said that would be fine for the geographical area where I keep the car. So KENNY R, the replies that tell you that it IS needed are not strictly true. It would appear that it depends on where you live.

I did state in my first response that Direct Line haven't asked for tracker for some customers.
