Well after owning Discos since the release of the first Disco 2's (and prior to that Range Rovers) my wifelet has decided she doesn't like the new Disco 5; can't say I blame her!

Looks like the closest in the current range is the RRS, so time for a change. She's an impatient sort now she's made up her mind and we've got a few activities planned over September. I wondered if there were any dealers out there with new stock in the pipeline for the next couple of weeks. Might be able to do a September 1 pick up, and might consider a very low mile demo.

Spec not that important, she likes light interiors though.

You should be in a good position for a bargain, if your not fussy on spec I would try the large dealer groups first stratstone etc as with the current my17 on the run out now they will have new stock vehicles coming in that they need to shift to hit the end of quarter targets that are always high on a registration month. You should easily achieve a 7-8% discount, plus free service plan & deposit contribution if you take a LR pcp.

Give Lookers Land Rover West London a call, they are one of the dealerships holding one of the biggest selections of new and nearly new RRS for stock. If they don't have a car you like then there are plenty of LR dealers within the Lookers Group that they can call stock from. There is also mention in the forum elsewhere that the factory has a big selection of new 2017MY held at the Gaydon storage facility. The only problem I have found with the London dealerships is the majority of cars they hold as stock are black, dark grey or dark blue, lighter colours don't seem as popular in the Sarf east 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have a 17 plate Dynamic with 2000 miles on the clock that may be of interest.

It was £74k new a few months ago and I'd let it go for £67k. Large spec with elec tow bar, meridian, pan roof amongst others. 2017 MY - Dynamic, same again!

2016 MY - Dynamic - same spec again all round, engine a noticeable improvement

2015 HSE Dynamic - same spec as the last plus Meridian, Full Size Spare & InControl Apps

HSE Dynamic 2014:
Ebony / Lunar, Heated Mirrors, Privacy Glass, Heated Steering Wheel, Red Callipers, Interior Mood Lighting, Ebony Headlining, Panoramic Roof, Electric Towbar, Centre Console Fridge.

Managed to find an unregistered one in a nice spec that the wifelet liked and got a decent deal on it. Black interior will be something of a departure for her but probably good come resale time.

One good thing about buying his way is she doesn't get to hit the options list and turn a 70k car into a
100k one!
