Headup display not displaying in KM

Driving in Europe at the moment, and I assumed that when I set the Speedo setting to KM, that it would apply it to the Head up Display as well. I've set both settings available, and now analogue and digital display on the dash is shown in km, but HUD displays the speed in mph.
Traffic sign recognition picks up the speed in kmph, and displays in HUD as kmph (traffic sign speed) and next to it the vehicle speed in mph.
Just wondering if anyone else had this or if I missed a setting to turn everything to KMs.
Apart from this its fantastic, drove 700miles in one day, so effortless. Also had quite a few Italians and Germans complementing about the RRS. Very nice. Very Happy

In exactly the same position with mine, can't see a setting for the HUD, although have managed to change the dash display and traffic sign recognition is in km too. Odd

If it is like the Discovery then you change the HUD in the trip Computer settings.

I will give it a try and report back, so used to looking at the HUD rather then the dash, having km and mph is confusing.
Thanks,

Just tried mine and no matter what the dash is set to display (speedometer, digital) the HUD display mph. So does the TSR. Does the TSR show kmh on the dash, or mph?

What Jimbg suggested worked. Bow down

Phil, try the setting in the trip computer, it should work for you as well.

So for the benefit of anyone else searching for this, this is what I found, (This is with MY16)
1. changing Menu/ Trip computer / units to kmh changes the HUD display to metric. No need to change any other setting. As Jimbg mentioned this doesn't makes sense, but looks like HUD is related to trip computer then the dash at the software level.

2. Traffic sign recognition picks metric without any settings change, possibly via satnav. Speed data from the satnav database or speed picked up from the camera is displayed in kmh.

3. Speedo can be set to metric with the menu.

4. Digital display on the dash can be set to mph or metric separately.

So now I got HUD and Speedo and digital display in kmh. In a way this gives lot of flexibility as you can pick and choose, but how to do this could have been put in to one logical menu rather then hidden in two places.

Can confirm this works on mine too, shame as I'd rather still have the trip in miles, but can't have it all..
