United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
2 Sport Faults Tonight

Came back to car to find that rear n/s was flat this evening, bit of a pain but fixable. Knowing about swollen nuts I had both a 22mm and a 23mm socket to hand but one of the beggars was really tight and the 23mm started spinning & the metal cover became detached. Tried bashing the 22mm on but no avail so had to call the AA out Rolling Eyes

Really quick service, they turned up inside 10 mins and they had it changed 10 mins later. Problem then arose when trying to winch the punctured wheel back up, the winch refused to fully retract with the wheel, despite lot of effort and WD40. Had to leave it dangling and lob the tyre in the boot.

So thats 1 puncture to fix (hopefully, can't see any side or edge damage), a new winch & some nuts to buy... Oh and a lump hammer to keep in the boot in case same situation arrises again.

I've just ditched my locking ones with some new normal ones.
Also just ordered a set of solid ones to replace all as some have started to swell Censored

Coz they chew up after repeat use so either replace them or just use normal ones.
I'll take the risk of not having them over battling on side of motorway with a flat... Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com
