Buying my first RRS

Hi all,

I am new to RRS and am looking to make my first purchase but am after some advise on spec and options I should be looking at. My initial thoughts were a 2012-2013 l320 sdv6 hse I have a budget of around £30k. I am looking to buy as an approved used through a dealer and did see one yesterday with around 40k miles in santorini black with ivory interior. Are there any options I need to look out for as being desirable.

Also do they come with a sunroof as standard or is this an option.

Thanks again for your help and will hopefully be a proud new owner shortly.

Stuart

Sunroofs will leak over time. Have done since the 50s. They have air con so no need for a hole in roof Rolling with laughter
Don't pay full price, don't buy gap insurance from them (use ALA), don't buy silly wheel or paint insurance, get next service cost thrown in, make sure latest service has been done, make sure tyres are good and same tread depth, check everything works on it.
Then enjoy it Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Check the spare wheel and tyre are present, check discs and pads have lots of life.
Search the entire LR stock list on their website to compare prices
Their PCP interest rate is quite high but is a good way to get a deal then pay it off with a cheaper bank loan after a few weeks Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Thanks DrRob is there usually much negotiation on price the one I looked at yesterday as up for just under 32k in the showroom but was 28k on the website howvevsr had just sold so did not question in. They have another one coming in next week Same spec so was going to view. Am I likely better off taking the pcp for a deal then clearing with cash soon after?

Point taken on sunroof I did not realise it was not a panoramic on this model so not as fussed. Do like the amount of light the panoramic Does add. So the hse has enough spec without looking for any particular options?

Peachy I will look through photos and come back to you. Could I extend the warranty with LR beyond next year I don't want to own one without warranty as appreciate looking on here things do go wrong and are expensive fixes.

Do any of you have concerns over the talk of additional diesel tax etc you see batted about at the minute.

Thanks

Price is always negotiable. Never pay full price Thumbs Up
You will probably get more discount going the PCP route. Check terms can let you pay it off straight away etc
You can extend Peachys warranty
Diesel tax won't go up on an existing vehicle, only new. Visitor from fullfatrr.com

sunroofs do leak on these, and then get into the electrics (which you really don't want!)
