MoT - work required

MoT today. Sadly, needed an O/S/R wheel bearing. Cheaper bearing than fronts but more involved fitting so not as cheap a job as one might like, especially once the wheel alignment is done.

On the plus side, after the alignment, the RRS feels better on the road. Thumbs Up

All in all, can't be too annoyed - the bearing has done 162k miles since it was first fitted... including just over 32k miles since the last MoT. Good job these vehicles are so comfy to be in! Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Wow. Those stats aren't bad. I'm smitten with mine. Just love it all over. Yes it's going to have problems and yes it's going to cost me money on occasions but she's worth it. Barrie.

Still on my original rear bearings at 198k...

Planning on replacing them when it's in for its rebuild at the end of the year Thumbs Up

Wow. That's impressive DM. I had a new rear wheel bearing recently (about 55,000 miles). Begs the question why they vary so much in reliability. What's your secret? Robin
