2007 rrs service schedule

Hi, im looking to buy a range rover sport probably a pre facelift around the 2007 mark.
Ive had a look on google and it seems the service intervals are 12 monthly with an oil and filter change inbetween (so every 6 months) is this correct?
If so can someone confirm if the book gets stamped for the oil and filter change? as im looking at vehicles from 2007 ish stating full dealer history but only 10 stamps.
Anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks in advance!

Only service requirement is every 12 months unless used in arduous conditions, the cambelts should have been done at that age and the replacement of the oil pump is a must on 2007 models so if it hasn't been done factor it in to the price otherwise you may be looking at a new engine Nanocom Evo

It's mainly 07 although other preface lift models have been know to fail, it's the tensioner that snaps off the casting if you search oil pump on here and the disco3 site there is loads of threads.
The genuine LR part is around £250 if the cambelts need doing it's not a massive job on top of replacing them, if they've been done and your doing the pump you may as well replace belts anyway so good for another 7 years .
As for cost probably 700 ish in total but others that have had it done may know better. Unfortunately I needed a new engine at around 10k fitted Nanocom Evo

Cheers for that mate! I'll have a little search see what I can find, hopefully it'll have been dove with the belts on any that I'm looking at and hopefully they've kept the proof.

Thanks again

Cheers for the link drRob, so is the oil service stamped in the book as it is highlighted in the schedule there?
So should any car I am potentially looking at have 2 stamps a year in the book?

That's a worldwide service schedule - I think the oil service is different for western Europe (see the later posts in that link) at only once/year.

Syl I think you are correct! I did notice the "mena market only" but didn't know what it stood for, just googled it: Middle East and north aftica markets. So uk will only be 12 months excellent

Cheers!

12 months or 15k miles, whichever comes first. For example, mine gets two services a year at the mo because I'm doing 25k+ miles a year.

Also bear in mind that more frequent servicing may be required if you do lots of towing, lots of off roading etc. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
