After reading on here about the challenge car polisher (sorry I can't remember who the op was)I bought one today. I washed and dried it then used poor boys black hole with the polisher. It's fantastic !!! My car was seriously swirl city and now it's looking brilliant after one go. Big thanks to the op for suggesting it.  SNOWIE

Hi Snowie - I've also read some glowing reports for the Challenger, however I've also seen (and heard) that replacement parts are really hard to get hold of. Argos are selling the machines cheap but do not supply or sell replacement polishers. I'd be interested to know if you find a retailer for new polishers etc.

Hi Snowy that was me recommending the challenger DA buffer. Yours looks great!

Did an awesome job for me! £54.99 well spent! Use with Poorboys Black Hole then Poorboys Black Nattys Paste Wax and this is what you get....

Did you use a wax afterward? Ensure you put a medium or hard wax on top of Black Hole to secure it. AutoGlym HD wax is pretty good if you haven't got any Nattys (well recommended and very easy to apply and remove..). You must seal Black Hole or you will need to do it again after a couple of washes pal.

They are two of the shiniest, blackest, black cars I've ever seen!!

Had another go with it at the weekend. This was taken last night so had done 2 days outside. Still looks fantastic. Poorboys black hole then Nattys Black Glaze.

Well worth trying if you have a black one!

OK, I first washed the car with a decent cleaner, I use Dodo Juice but any GOOD cleaner will do.
I then used a Clay Mitt - http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-clean...clay-mitt?
run over the bodywork using thick suds or rapid detailing spray (I used Smart Wax spray), run it over slowly with a little pull it will pick up contaminates and get your bodywork back to 'clean'.
I then used the Challenger to apply Poorboys Black Hole liquid http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/glazes/poorb...d_494.html . Loads of Youtube vids on applying. Use a decent amount and keep it spinning until it is hard to see the poorboys. Then leave that to dry, then buff with a clean microfibre.
I do that step twice, then apply by hand, 3 coats of Poorboys Nattys paste Black wax http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/poorboys..._1664.html (over 2 days, allowing it to dry in between). I then applied some AutoGlym https://www.autoglym.com/extra-gloss-protection EGP on top and let it sit for c.60 mins, then buff off with another microfiber.

I do pretty much the same for the wheels twice a year, taking each off in turn. Does make it easier to clean them but try Billberry's Wheel Cleaner, http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-t...d_504.html best stuff for wheels I have found, you almost don't need to agitate. Works wonders for red calipers too!!

I have quite a lot of detailing stuff and have the poorboys/nattys, and have been using bilberry for years.

Never really ventured into DA polishers though....now I have my black svr I was thinking it's the next logical step !

There you go, that's all you need to make it look amazing!!

I guess a lot of the contaminants would have come off with the clay mitt, but like Tyrefitter I prefer Korrosol and Tardis before going over with clay or a mitt.

Black hole is a good product and the results clearly speak for themselves, but you would get longer lasting results with a mild abrasive polish to remove the swirls rather than covering them with the BH, especially as you went to the effort of using a polisher, just my 2p
