Yes, but some cars use the fog lights as DRL's... |

IIRC some Skodas, Audis, Porsches and certain Mercs do that and often it is very hard to see if they are using an indicator as the brightness of the fog lights obscures the indicator light. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW |

Indeed, and front fog (prat) light bulbs are 55W, the same as dip/main beam lamps. Far too bright to be used as a bloody fashion accessory!

My current bug bear is people that stop a full cars length from the white line at traffic lights. It is absolute pure idiocy. |

Can't say I've noticed that, most idiots I see are either a car's length over the white line, or running the red lights completely! You can't see the eyes of the demon until him come callin' |

In places where there are lots of bikes (pedal and motor) it gives them somewhere safe to be. Being sat against the kerb as the queue moves away puts them in danger of being hit by left turning vehicles. There is often a second white line to denote this zone and maybe some drivers have just started doing it out of habit. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
