I've been having this issue come up at random since getting my RRS a year ago where the dash flags up that nothing works for brake assist, DSC, and lowers for safety etc.. The first time a year ago I was coincidentally near the dealer so they said it was the steering sensor so recalibrated,and all appeared ok for a month or so. Now it appears only every month or so but our mileage is low. I have tried calibrating the sensor several times with the GAP iiDTool but no difference.

Someone I know incorrectly bought an original LR battery for his FFRR which is the exact battery fitted to my RRS, so I bought this off him. It's virtually new only having jumped his RR a few times so I fitted this and the faults still appear, but I am aware a badly stored new battery is none better than an old battery. Initially I thought it was due to the battery as reported on here a lot, and also it seemed to happen shortly after having started the RRS. But it recently happened after having driven for about an hour while on holiday, and as I was towing a caravan I wasn't best pleased with it lowering 'for safety'.

All codes seem to stem from loosing comms with the ATCM

Try changing the code read in the IID, to include "Pending" codes

This has flagged up a few issues with me that would have otherwise gone unnoticed (MAF sensor issue being one)

ATCM - a quick google brings up All Terrain Control Module? I meant to post this when I was home when I could deal with it, but I'm away now for 4 weeks but will check again once I get back home. I wasn't aware of any "pending" codes setting, how do I do this or will it be obvious when I next check the codes?
Also I see the dates the codes flagged up but I'm sure I've had the faults again since then but maybe I hadn't reset them the previous time, does the codes just show the first date flagged? 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine

So I've got home and figured the Pending codes can be set in the Advanced scan menu. Below is what I got this time, I do know the messages appeared once since writing the initial post, when my wife was driving.

Go into "ECU info" and see if the tool can find the ATCM

I went into ECU info and it found the ATCM.

At the moment everything is working as it should, I have the iiDTool in the RRS all the time so would it be of any benefit to try finding the ATCM ECU next time it happens? 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine
