2.0 SD4 ingenium HSE

Hi folks, new to the forum but not to Land Rover. Had 2 classic 2.5 VM Diesel engine, 2Td4 frelander and the RRS1 2.7.
I fancy to get back the RRS and thinking about the new 2.0 sd4 engine.
I have the same engine under the new Xf and it s great under the saloon. Quick and very cheap to run.
I wonder if anybody drove it and suggestions.
It would be a commuting car for my wife, 20 miles driving every day. No travelling involved nor off road.
Will we get the same royal feeling driving this engine as per the others RRS?

Won't be as smooth or refined as the 3.0, but it will still be a decent car Thumbs Up

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

They seem to be a bit rare, but many dealers are now doing 24/48 hour test drives. This weekend all the Jag & LR dealers are having an Event weekend trying to drum up business so hop into Taggarts and see if they have one on as a demo. I had a jag XE R-Sport Auto with the same engine as a loaner and was very impressed with it once it was warmed up, but it was very rattly when cold. For that low sort of miles would you not be better off with a Petrol with no DPF to give you problems? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Dpf won't be an issue with the ingenium since it does work with ad blue. So far haven't heard any issue at the moment and my ingenium it s at the moment fine.
Under the xf it s nice and smooth and very quiet so I think under the RRS bonnet it s probably even better insulated.
The petrol would be ideal but too expensive.
Quickly discussed the price with the dealer and he said I could have it new for 52/53k, HSE trim. It sounds pretty good.

Mikey RRS only gets the 240bhp version. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Can't be overly slow, with the 2.7 being "adequate" with 188bhp

The RRS2 has more power, more torque and 500kg less

Surely? Never driven the 2.0 RRS2 Confused
