So while these have become difficult to acquire in Europe, especially UK, somehow I've ended up with 2 so selling the new one.

Brand new stainless steel GMT Master 2 blue & black / day & night bezel model 116710BLNR nicknamed "Batman" (among other less cool names). If you're interested, you would probably know these have long waiting lists at authorised dealers and some are even refusing to add more names to their lists.

Bought June 2017 from a UK AD so full 5 year Rolex warranty remaining.

The watch has never been worn. All the tags, protective stickers and plastic bezel protector/cover are still on it. Never been resized so all the links in the bracelet.

All the papers (warranty card, warranty booklet, user manual) and boxes (green box, cream coloured hard outer box and white outer cardboard sleeve) are present as can be seen in the photos. I haven't posted a photo of the receipt for obvious reasons but I have that too.

Looking for £7,399. WatchFinder is advertising used ones with only 3 years of warranty remaining for more than that. Chronext is asking for significantly more for a new one. So I think it is a fair price for a brand new unworn watch with a June 2017 date on the warranty card i.e. practically full warranty available.

Payment by bank transfer prior to or at the time of collection in person.

Can arrange to meet in the City of London or North West London at a bank branch or an AD if you'd like it inspected ( at your cost obviously ) for authenticity before buying.

Its an amazing watch and the story behind the development is very interesting, but never really got on with it. I rarely wear it and never find it comfortable for my wrist. Great watch, I love mine, but I think you're going to struggle if you want 74. For 'stickered' 2016> watches grey dealers are moving them on at 70-74, but buying in at 65-69. Watchfinder are controlling/phasing stock into the market, the reality is they are sat on lots of them hence why their offers are so poor.

IMO, for a private sale you're looking around 69 tops.

70 is, IMO, the most you will get for it right now as a 'trade' or private bid. The grey dealer will want to put it out for c75 max, in the aim of getting 73-74, so for them to have enough margin, I doubt they will bid more than 70. Watchfinder is the only place I know advertising over 75, but even then we don't know what they are actually selling for.

Chronext was advertising for just under £8k when I last checked a few days ago. As you say, these are asking prices so don't know exactly how much they sell for. However, I did check eBay's actual selling prices and for 2017 BNIB watches they ranged between £7.5k and £8k.

Agree about price rise, it is a possibility but no idea when. The Nov '16 UK increase was after 4 years of static prices and speculation! Some other locations had 2-3 price rises during that period.

I don't 'need' to sell but at the same time it feels wasteful to store it. Someone should wear and enjoy it. I did consider keeping it for my son (who has an interest in watches) but he is only 10 and it will be a looong time before I can trust him with such a piece.
