Nicking an RRS

An old one, but still interesting. Cloning the key using response from the car (!), overcoming the alarm, an RRS in Moscow gets stolen in 15 minutes from the beginning of the process.
 Regards etc.,

Keyless entry seems like a great idea

Keyless - like smashing the rear window and climbing in?

Looks like he climbs in, plugs in something, climbs back out, waits for the key to activate it, climbs back in then drives off?

Don't forget that in markets away from the UK and EU Land Rover doesn't spec the In Control Secure and In Control Protect systems that we have as standard equipment - it is either optional or not available. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Yupp, the only reason he was able to climb in and not trigger the alarm was that the car didn't have the internal protection, it would only sound the alarm if the door was opened. Regards etc.,

Yes and in Russia it's not acceptable to the authorities Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4
