You can change the badging and logos easily - letter sets and badges can be bought on eBay. The grille colour depends on the spec but that too is easily changed with bits bought from the forum sponsor Dan @ Duckworths or from eBay sellers. It isn't a hard job to do, just a bit fiddly. If you look at the posts some folks have recently done it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

From the 2017 model year all RRS from HSE Dynamic trim up get gloss black lettering and gloss black detailing - your dealer is correct you can't just have the silver lettering. Pre 2017 MY cars had silver lettering. To get this silver lettering now you must opt for the bright pack which as you say adds other silver bits too - basically like a bog standard HSE looks! I would order the silver lettering if that is what you want (from duckworth parts on here) and get your dealer to fit this before you pick up the car from them - agree it as part of the deal. Ideally get them to pay for the silver lettering too! Personally though I think the black lettering on a black car looks fab! |

Hi. I think you will find your dealer is wrong. As far as I am aware all rrs apart from hse spec has come with black lettering regardless of stealth pack or not. Double check with them. |

I'm an now also thinking my dealer is wrong. Frustrating when the dealer themselves can't give a straight answer. |

Personally I think the black lettering (on black vehicles) looks awful and is a complete waste of time.

exactly what I thought. My dealer has stated that as the black lettering is standard on 2017 with Autobiography Trim that they will change the lettering to silver once the receive the car from the factory.
