Need a bit of help please,

I can't get a good pedal , hard pedal with engine off but when you start it the pedal decays nearly to the floor. If you let it up the next is better and if you pump again better still.

I've bled fronts but not rears yet..

Air leak between master cylinder and servo ?

Apparently its a bit of a nightmare if you get air into the ABS block. But I guess with an IID you can sort it.

IID = A diagnostic tool; to open valves in the ABS module to release air.

Not sure if the IID can do it actually.
Dealer can.

Look at the brake bible on here or www.disco3.co.uk

Completely normal Thumbs Up

As long as the pedal is rock solid when the engine is off, it's fine

Shocked really Mikey , didn't do that before, unless the engine oil in it was a factor Laughing

I will bleed everything again today in any case Thumbs Up

The servo provides assistance to the braking system. It's also checked as part of the MOT

Comleptely normal, and more exaggerated with the Brembo-equipped servo Thumbs Up

I'm still not sorted and slowly loosing the will to live Laughing

I've bled at each calliper using mrs m3 at the pedal hoping it would improve but if anything it's worse .

Symptoms now are pedal goes to floor with engine off

But if you pump it you get a pedal that is good and doesn't decay

Start it and pedal goes to floor

Then next pump is good

However, road test brakes are good but first push is very low pedal but second pump is normal pedal

Rolling Eyes

Any help would be appreciated

I haven't tampered with the module except to connect master cylinder

Only bled at wheels

Did you disconnect the pipes from the master cylinder then?
I would have pulled it away from the servo and propped it on something. (all very easy to say now)

Thanks Andy I've had a look through Bodsy s bible but I can't find anything other than references to T4 but doesn't say what to do?

Am I coming up a dead end on how to bleed this block do you reckon?

It does sound like it needs a trip to the dealer.

See if they can sort the oil issue and you may have to pay for the bleeding.
I guess you don't admit to much. Just say brakes are very bad and oil found in servo
