Have purchased a TDV8 2008 a few months back all was fine , now the cruise control has stopped working, my car has the adaptive cruise control fitted, I have checked the fault codes in my car and show three, U0405 invalid data from speed control unit, C1A67 forward looking sensor DTC status current and U0132 loss of comms ride height level control module. I was thinking of checking wiring / plugs to these units. I know where the forward control unit is under the front bumper, but can anybody tell me where I would find the speed control unit and the Level control unit. I need to find these units to check part numbers etc and check connections. Have check the switches on steering wheel they all seem to be working correctly , any info would be much apresiated by me.

The forward sensor is on the left side of the bumper, in the "mouth" marked ACC ?





U0132 loss of comms ride height level control module is probably nothing to do with this issue. Just ignore

You can check that the ride height sensors are all working OK in the 4x4info screen - if there is a small red bar above any of the wheels then that is the dicky sensor, normally they would be showing white/grey 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks Andy and Tim for the info, have found the forward looking cruise control sensor, all looks fine on the 4x4 screen so as suggested I will ignore the ride hight sensor. DTC code, just need the location of speed control unit
