IID tool and using it on a friends RRS

Can a locked IIDTool read and display the codes on a non registered vehicle? A friend of mine needs his codes scanned and mine is tied to my VIN.... What type of functionality, if any can we expect for his RRS?

yes you can.

Just can't program keys or cal suspension
