Portugal 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue
LOVING MY RRS

So I've had my Cairns Blue 2005 RRS for nearly 2 months now. As I've mentioned before I needed a LHD as I'm moving to Portugal next year and it needs to be registered in my name for 12 months to avoid Portugal's illegal vehicle 'tax'.

In addition to enjoying the comments and experiences on this forum (and adding a few) I absolutely love the car. It's perfect for my needs and driving it is nothing short of wonderful.

Maybe I was lucky picking up such a good car, after all it was from a one-man-band 'dealer' in London who specialises in importing LHDs. You hear of so many horror stories but sometimes you've just got to take a chance. With only 62k (miles) on the clock and one owner from new it has hardly any scratches, just a bit of gravel rash on the nose. I love cleaning it and it's put the joy back in to driving. I expected to have to live with some niggles and as the car is 12 years old one might expect some 'hidden' problems - but no. None.

I will take the advice I was given and it will have a major service in a few weeks including a new belt & chain.

A dream car - love it.

Thanks for this forum too - real comments from real people - unlike some. Barrie.

I will have had mine three weeks on Tuesday and absolutely loving it. Sounds like you found a good one well done, and gives me hope, mine is also one owner low miles in lovely condition and just hoping I don't live to regret it as I would be very sad to sell it.

Good luck with the move.
