You could make it slightly harder to steal by cable tieing it on as well as clipping it, would require cutters or a knife which the scrote may not have with them.

Are you sure the cover didn't just fall off? Mine is on a green lane somewhere

Thieving swines stole mine approx 1month ago , in b&q car park. Looked for a replacement, scrappers wanted £40. Dealers £35 MY12 RRS HSE

Mine hasn't been fitted for years. Previous owner (or garage) had stuck it on with some form of black glue. Took a bit of removing and don't see the point of getting one as it gets removed to tow etc. One less thing for the scrotes to steal too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Dog chewed mine when he found it in the boot. I have a fixed towbar so never used to put it on & now I'll never use it again
