I think mine is a varta agm battery, was about £175 and has solved a whole bunch of random faults I was getting. |

Be worth checking the alternator. Do you do mostly short runs? With regular hour-plus runs, the battery should be kept in decent charge unless the alternator is tired. On short runs it might just be struggling to get meaningful charge even with a good alternator. Short runs and tired alternator would be a recipe for trouble.
