green fluid on drive RRS TDV8 2010

Hi all
I noticed on my drive a leak or maybe two. on is in the cetre of the two silencers towards the back fluid on what looks like a diff bush (1st photo) and the second photo in the front left hand wheel arch there seems to be splash marks on the inside of the tyre and the other gubbins. It seems to be green fluid but not 100%
I have recently topped up the Dynamic response fluid

That colour of green looks like the UV dye added to check for AC leaks, but I'd highly doubt it would make it all the way to the rear diff Confused

Otherwise, the DR/ARC fluid is a dark green, and usually leaks at the drivers front corner Thumbs Up

Hi I checked the coolant first its pink so I don't think it is that. Yes I recently noticed dynamic response was low and topped it up I plugged in my delphi scanner and no fault codes were found for the dynamic response either at the time it was low or the time I topped up.

Sway bar actuator is leaking. It's an expensive fix so for starters you can try some power steering fluid stop leak. It will buy you a little time and since you will need to get the entire thing replaced what have you got to loose by putting snake oil in your system. I did the exact same thing and it worked and it probably would have held up longer but I got the sway bar replaced anyway. It looks like the exact same leak I had so put that stop leak stuff in there and see what happens. Smile

well you have a front one and a rear one and a filter, so the snake oil could do damage to 2 of the 3 remaining components

and a valve block

Absolutely right Andy,

But if you do a search on this issue here and on google you will find many have had great success with it and some have even stopped the leak altogether. The sway bar cost me well over 2000 CDN to replace so using the stop leak bought me some time and I have no regrets. Everything is now working fine and it's a risk but in my opinion, a risk worth taking. Don't forget, stop leak is just a thick power steering fluid with some additives that recondition seals blah blah and despite this there were no issues with the valve block or the overall flow.

I used Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak and I used it very sparingly.
