Air con condenser identification 2006 s/c

Hi guys, I have just had my aircon recharged, it was great for about an hour and then back to warm. I am suspecting a leak. I dont really want to pay for hours of diagnostics and thought I might go straight in and change the condenser to rule it out. Looking in from the front lower scoop I can see a rad with a split in it, there are a few rads/ coolers behind there. Is the one in the pic with the split the air con one if so is this the lightly suspect. Cheers guys.

If that is green yellow stuff (wipe it with a white tissue) then it's leaking there

My understanding is that most self-respecting recharge places use a system which checks for leaks before recharging so that if there is a leak you don't pay for something that is not going to work. In other words you should be able to get your money back on the recharge cost! Robin

Hi, yes that will be my intention, to get them to re gas for free, just got to tackle the job first. Thinking of doing it myself. I just wanted to confirm that was the aircon condenser and it looked like the suspect. Thanks for your reply.

Good plan. Thumbs Up

Just make sure they know first before you fix it that it hasn't worked. Robin
