New head unit fitting advice


Hi I have a RR sport use on an 05 plate I was wondering if anyone has fitted one of these and what would I need as I don't want to lose the top screen do i need any special wiring harness or anything ?

yes as you have an HSE you need 2 things.


1) Fit the rear of the old headunit somewhere (in the top of the gloveb0x) to drive the top display.

2) An adaptor loom to connect to the speaker wires under the drivers seat

Unless you find a site that has a whole bunch of genuine positive reviews, I would assume it's junk, especially at that price. I would fit alpine/pioneer/kenwood.

I was also sceptical about the quality of my head unit as it came from China, but was pleasantly surprised that it is way loud enough with good sound, the only thing missing is the bass but that can be addressed with a separate amplifier for the subwoofer in the boot.
