Yes, it's just started for me on a MY17. Very annoying!

With my Touareg I could turn this feature on and Off, which at the moment would be good. I was told there was a PCM upgrade but still no good after the new firmware. So many missed features on this car, can't program the seats to the keys Why not? Likewise I had key controlled memory seats in a Merc. 14 years ago (and they always worked!).

Nothing, so far, because I haven't asked them! (To be fair, it only started the other day, and I've learned enough already about the car to wait a few days to see if it cures itself).

Is this while driving along? You would need to hold the button down, rather then just press it. May help. 2012 RRS SDV6

No, we're (at least I am) talking about the seat resuming the correct setting from 'easy access' on start up. It always goes to the correct setting if you press the button, but you shouldn't need to with memory seats.

My 16MY AB has this problem.

Sometimes it does & sometimes it doesn't, no patterrn nor rhyme nor reason.

Dealer can't solve the problem.

Have got into the the habit of hitting '1' each time I get in.

I agree, that AND several other features that either don't work at all (such as 'In Control Apps) or only work intermittently.
