I'd stay away from that one. The advert is wrong in its claims about the spec. It appears to relate to a later model - not sure the RRS had 4 zone AC or cooled front seats, for example. The photos don't show controls for these anyway. Not sure a 2010 RRS ever cost £80k either.

I don't think that there was ever a limited edition (LE) version of the TDv8 RRS and 2010 was the last year of production of the 3.6 TDv8 as I was too late to order one in February 2010 and I ended up chopping my 2007 TDv8 in for an L322 FFRR 3.6 TDv8 Vogue (big mistake as the RRS TDv8 was a superior handling vehicle) as the 3.6 stayed in production in that model up to October 2010 when the 4.4 TDV8 FFRR was introduced. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

As for the questions about TDV8 or SDV6, I'd go with the SDV6. The TDV8 is lovely but the SDV6 is about as quick and gives noticeably better fuel mileage.

If you do a search on the LR Approved Used website there are some very nice facelift RRS's within 100 miles of a central London postcode that I typed in, within £500 of the price of that one you linked to but with slightly higher miles than it, but you will get LR warranty with them. Most are HSE's not Autobiographies though. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I had F10 520d, now an F31 335d, it's a cracking engine, there's no doubting it, but you can't compare to an RRS, they are completely different categories. Stay with trying to find an RRS....from someone that has moved away ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

It'll struggle to tow anything meaningful, it'll be crap in snow and it won't do this: Other than that? It's a nice enough BMW diesel saloon pretending to be an M-car... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
