When I did my old 09 plate cost over 1k but did use all new parts, including heated steering wheel. On a pre-facelift the the paddle shift will only work with the transmission in sports mode though.

You do not need to edit the CCF because the pre-facelift never had paddles in the first place, also very few had heated steering wheels. Mani, I did the conversion myself it isn't to difficult really. you will need to buy the circuit boards from Blackbox Solutions for the Paddles there are also extra boards for the Heated Wheel and ACC if you have it and they also have all the fitting instructions etc. on their website it's all pretty straight forward. All the other parts I bought from Dan at Duckworths. With the Heated Steering Wheel, fortunately I had one of the last pre-facelifts and it already had the heated wheel wiring in the harness, although I did need the latest clockspring, according to L/R parts list after a specific vin no. they should all have it fitted but they don't. You can buy the Connector and Lead for the heated wheel in the forum shop to upgrade. Cheers Col |
