That doesn't sound good. Hopefully a blown pipe rather than a dead bar.

Not good. Did they change the filter at 5 year service? Some places skimp.

Yes its off to Guava in the morning Rob so they can keep each other company . Looks like its coming from the self levelling block but hard to diagnose without putting it on a ramp. Looking at the mess underneath its spat the lot out

Just a quick update on this. Was diagnosed as the rear anti-roll bar leaking and needing to be replaced. A lot of work and a substantial cost. Currently have a RRS2 that has grown on me somewhat over the last few days 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

My rear ARB is leaking. No warranty. With 154k miles on the clock, it'll be getting an OEM part...

Even less bits available to make one of those an off road toy! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Its a 2500 job at the dealers including the new Parts! Also a partial body lift at the rear to get it out as there isnt much space otherwise.

Hi buckster, sorry to hear about the demise of the rear arb. Mine is also leaking and has been for the last couple year, I keep an eye on the level and keep it topped up. It is getting slowly worse and I'm going to have to change it one of these days

I keep thinking about taking out a warranty. Who with and what cost ? Always think they'll plead wear and tear when it comes to leaks.

Im still with L/R warranty as I renewed with them. Glad i did now! RRSTDV8 might be able to help you out with your symptoms as I believe he did a torque converter last year.
