How to fake the site name

What I'm thinking is this:

You're at work, you have various windows/browsers open on your taskbar, one of them is this forum, but instead of it being blatantly obvious and saying RRSPORT.CO.UK, is there a way we can spoof the name and call it Google or BBC News so when someone looks at your screen, they can't tell you have a browser open with the forum on, therefore, looking more innocent. L319 D4 HSE

simple solution - use Firefox - open a tab showing google and always click back to this one when you leave it - RRSPORT.CO.UK is hidden - viola!!!

You could frame the site in a bit of locally held HTML - so you browse to a local page that sets up a frameset, with all the screen devoted to the forum. The page TITLE tag can be whatever you want it to be whilst the forum pages get rendered into one of the frames....

It's late after a weekend of rather too heavy wedding drinking (in Wales of all places - again £4.90 lighter for having to cross the Severn bridge!)... so I'm not thinking entirely straight but I'll see if this can work tomorrow.

you could always hide the task bar and use alt and tab to navigate between windows.

Or if you use quite a few IE windows at once if you choose group similar taks bar buttons it will put all IE tab into one called Inernet explorer.

One or both of the above might not be possible due to group policy depends on how secure the PC build is in your work 03 X5 3.0 Sport
