It's best, I found, to keep the engine running, not just loading using ignition on, like detailed in instructions, as it takes about 2hrs 30mins to load, and can flatten battery. John RRS MY12 SDV6 HSE. Sumatra Black/Ebony & Walnut + Dynamic Pack, + Cold Climate Pack + Memory Pack, Digital TV/DVD, Premium Leather, Cornering Lights, Cooler/Fridge Box, & most Options. |

Hi Jock, likewise sorry to hear of your problems, only other suggestion I could make is to call into your LR dealership, as they do install up to date maps on asking, they may know some way around your problem.

Is that the correct version? I thought your car was a MY15? |

Yes it's the correct version. Incontrol Touch PLUS not Incontrol Touch PRO, which is for the MY17 vehicles.

Jock your thumb drive's world tour shows how bad courier companies can be - In March the ship was supposed to receive a new PLC control board for a mooring winch........ it was sent by a yellow and red liveried courier company who claims to transport all the F1 teams around the world...........On March 6 the package arrived in Casablanca where the "next day" delivery package got held in transit for 48 hours and consequently missed the ship (we only get 8-12 hours in port to work 20,000 tonnes of cargo hence using next day delivery... 4 weeks later we return to Tangiers Med to be told the courier company local office had sent the package on to Seville - not a well known seaport and not somewhere we had asked for it to go. According to the tracking it was actually still at Casablanca when in fact it was in the courier company office in Tangiers. We then omitted our Tangier calll but our agent had given 8 days notice that the package had to be in Algeciras for the 23rd April to meet the ship. On 23rd April we berthed in Algeciras and our freight forwarder said they had not yet received the PLC. Tracking showed it had moved 3kms down the road to Tangiers and would miss the ship again. Yesterday I was told it was once again in Seville and was promised delivery May 5th Algeciras............. this morning there is an email from the courier company saying that they had attempted delivery at Algeciras but the ship wasn't there - err that's because it is Leixoes, Portugal and you said you would delivery on May 5th in Algeciras. So much for next month delivery when you have paid for next day delivery.......... it would probably have been quicker and cheaper for one of the Tangier office staff to have been given a day return on the Tangiers/Algeciras /Tangier ferry and hand carried the PLC over............. and shut out the courier! How does F1 get around the world in time for GP's with service like that 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks Nick (Jock55) for the welcome back, after a long time absense due to health problems and having to learn to drive using left foot braking and accelerating, with accelerator being moved to left hand side of brake pedal. Had to go on a course to help adapt to new fittings etc, great fun not.
