It also appears the majority say it should be changed at 7 years rather than 6? Given the mileage i would like to think it will be good until the end of the year? |

Play safe, change it earlier rather than later. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures

My manual says change at 7 years or at a stated mileage, which ever comes first. John

Your profile suggests it's a TDV8. If so, there is no cam belt - it's a chain and doesn't get changed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Never checked his profile, just from description on original post and no mention of V8.

So does a 2011 3.0 V6 HSE Dynamic have a cambelt or chain? |

Yes, TDV6 will need the belts changing. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

V8 (petrol and diesel) are chain, V6 (2.7 and 3.0) are belts. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
