Hi folks

I'd quite like to change the finish on the plastic? Wood? finishes around the center console and on the doors of my 2012 HSE. Fancy black, gloss, satin maybe? Has anyone tried or failed or has it been a success? Any photos maybe? I would have them professionally painted if its a goer.

What about a film coating dip? Like carbon Fibre? Just bought a RRS 06 MY HSE TDV6 136,000 miles, to be a second car to my bland, boring Mitsubishi Outlander 68 plate 2.0 petrol 4

I remember watching Wheeler Dealers when they had a FFRR and they had the trim parts dipped with a carbon fibre look. I'm not keen on the carbon look myself, but the finish was really good with reasonable costs, and they did other finishes.

Definitely worth a look. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

I wrapped mine, was a bit fiddly and time consuming but hopefully when I get a chance I'm having it all removed and then going for hydro dipping.
