Hi,

Are the 20" rims 9.5J's?

Hi Jules,
yes they are indeed 9 1/2

full details read as 9 1/2 x 20 EH2+ 53 which is the same offset as 19" wheels as well

Thumbs Up

Thanks for the confirmation on width.

Just out of curiousity: Have you replaced with another set of 20" wheels?

I've been running on 22" Stormers for years and fancy a step down to 20" for the sake of comfort and general ride improvement.

Thanks,

Jules

Try Paisley Freight if you are having issues, they are the cheapest for wheels/tyres. 2012 RRS SDV6

...and thanks for making that set of 20" wheels available. They are a nice set. Just what I needed to compare running on 22's to what the ride is like on 20's.

Done a few 100 miles now and the verdict is.............a surprise for me.

Honestly, I expected to feel a real difference - a more forgiving ride on typically poor UK B roads - but the difference is not immediately apparent.

For the first 50 miles or so I think the placebo factor was working. I had been so convinced that the ride was going to be better that I started to imagine that it was. However, overall, I really can't say I noticed much difference with the exception of hitting road holes deeper than 3" or sunken manhole covers where I was able to continue along the road without wondering if i had damaged a rim.

Verdict?: Peace of mind.
Probable outcome?: Summer on 22's. Winter on 20's.
How does it look?: before and after images attached.

Jules
