Best options for facelift-style DRLs?

My RRS is from 2005 and it seems I've subconsciously gotten used to the DRLs I've had on my more modern recent cars. I'm not trying to make my car look totally like the facelift version, as I do like the styling of the RRS mk1 anyway, but the DRLs look better on the facelift compared to some aftermarket strip lights stuck to the bumper somewhere.

Is there a relatively cheap way of modding my car with DRLs? Perhaps an exchange basis option? I know I can open my own headlamps as a friend has done it and told me it's easy, but he's definitely more handy than me, and we'd both feel bad if he messed them up when trying to update mine Shocked

I think the easy option is to remove your current fog lights, and replace them with combined DRL / Fog lights.

OSRAM made some suitable for the RRS.

Think they are about £80

Thanks, I've PM'd Darren. The Hella lamps look good but I think I'd want them alongside DRL headlights. On their own, I think they'd look more aftermarket than I want.

Kind regards,

Wayne

The headlights were purchased off a guy on eBay. I got the front, and 2010 style rears for £500 in total.

I do have a set of Land Rover DRL's that were made for the 06 model, but STILL haven't fixed them on! 2006 HSE for Sale - £7,499 (Manchester)

I did mine myself.
Bought some rings from eBay, opened up the lights and glued them in, then wired them unto ignition so they came on without any other lights coming on

I have the Osram LEDFOG101 as AndyK suggests and I'm thrilled with them. Not sure if they fit pre-2010 cars without changing the bumper. They were just a swap out for my fog lights plus a couple of extra leccy cables.

If you like the OEM ones, I've seen good results from ones a guy on this site does. I have a set ready to fit in a couple of weeks!

This is the same as the kit I used.
From start to finish it took about 2 hours from removing headlights to refitting them.
Worst thing is putting headlights into the oven but it was fine as you remove ballast, bulbs etc and "cook" for 3 minutes at 180 degrees to soften glue
